4site awarded a prestigious Gold award by Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for outstanding health and safety practices

4site, the providers of innovative engineering solutions for major infrastructural developments in telecommunications, has received a Gold award in the internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK.

 

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) is a British charity that aims to save lives and prevent life-changing injuries which occur as a result of accidents. Organisations receiving a RoSPA Award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vying to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards and 4site achieved the gold standard in 2020.

 

4site is a part of the Inidgo Telecom Group with its Headquarters in Limerick, along with offices in Dublin and the UK, 4site received the prestigious award in recognition of its practices and achievements in helping its staff and customers arrive home safely at the end of the working day. 4site has expanded it’s UK presence over the past twelve months, with the company currently working across numerous projects based all over the country and the company has played an ever-growing part in the rollout of CityFibre infrastructure in places such as Wolverhampton, Huddersfield and Northampton. The business has a dedicated Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager, David Healy, who ensures continued compliance with all required Health, Safety, Environment and Quality legislation. He also ensures that training, education and mentoring are core facets at all levels of safety management in the organisation. It’s because of this meticulous approach that 4site has been awarded the coveted RoSPA Gold Award.

 

The work conducted by the 4site team involves surveying acres of land on a daily basis and creating innovative engineering solutions to ensure the delivery of significant major infrastructural developments. 4site works on a continual basis to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their team while they engage in this activity. In these challenging times, with COVID-19, 4site is in a fortunate position with our parent company, Indigo Telecom Group, sharing useful insights from other countries that have been impacted by the virus. Through a proactive approach and having a Business Continuity Plan in place, 4site has been able to operate as normal with office staff working from home and field staff have the required documentation and resources in place to continue working in a safe manner, with HSEQ to the forefront of our minds.
